What can I use the WorthyDeal Live Assistance chat service for?

Anything! If you need to talk to us for any reason, whether it be a product query, or something to do with how to order from our website, shipping costs, delivery times, whether an item is in stock, technical support, then just click on the Live Assistance button and ask us!

How will I know whether anybody at WorthyDeal is available to talk to me?

When one of our operators is ready and waiting to talk to you, the Live Assistance button will say 'Start Chat - click here' (or the button at the top of our Home page will say 'Chat with us live! - click here'). When you click on the button, one of our operators will respond to your call straightaway. If the Live Assistance button says 'Will Return Shortly' or 'Click here to leave a message' the Live Assistance service is currently unavailable.

You will find the Live Assistance button at the bottom of every page on our website, so it is always close to hand should you need it.

We don't have any set hours for the operation of the Live Assistance service, we try to have operators available all the time. Can I use Live Assistance to send confidential information?

When you talk to us via the Live Assistance button, you are doing so over a secure (encrypted) link as indicated by the Padlock icon in the Live Assistance chat window, so only our operators can see what you are typing. No unauthorised persons can evesdrop on your conversation with us or intercept any of the information you send to us, including any sensitive personal data, such as a credit card number for example.

Should I worry about anybody being able to hack into my Live Assistance call?

No, all Live Assistance conversations are HACKER SAFE

HACKER SAFE means that an additional layer of security has been added to the already high standards of network safety that our live chat servers incorporate. HACKER SAFE means that these servers are tested and certified daily to pass stringent security tests and adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard requirements of Visa CISP and AIS, MasterCard SDP and American Express DSS programs. So you can even pass credit or debit numbers or other confidential information to us in a Live Assistance conversation!

Can I use Live assistance from the Checkout pages in case I have any problem there?

Yes, Live Assistance is available from the Checkout and payment confirmation pages, so you can talk to us from there if you wish. Doing this does not interfere with the progress of your Checkout, as your Live Assistance chat session is conducted through a separate window. Live Assistance is conducted over a secure (encrypted) link between your web browser and our operators and is HACKER SAFE, so any confidential information can be exchanged during a Live Assistance session.

Do I need to download anything or install new software on my system before I can use the WorthyDeal Live Assistance service?

There is no need for you to download or install anything. Just click to chat! Live Assistance is Java/JavaScript-based. So long as you are using a Java/JavaScript enabled browser you will be able to chat with us.

The Live Assistance button says 'Will Return Shortly' - what does this mean?

Live Assistance is temporarily unavailable. If the button colour is amber, Live Assistance will be back within a few minutes, and you should hang on as you will be able to use the service very soon; if it is showing red, this means there will be a more substantial delay before the service becomes available again, and it will probably be better for you if you click the button and leave a message for us. We will then get back to you. When the button displays 'Will Return Shortly' (either amber or red) you can always click on the button and use it to leave a message for us.
