How do I make a purchase?

Making a purchase could not be easier. Browse our e-Store pages. Use the left Menu buttons and Search facility to help you find what you need. To put any item you wish to buy into your personal shopping basket just click on the item's "Add to cart" button. Click on "View Cart" at the top of every page any time you wish to see what you have in your basket, or to delete or amend the quantities of anything in your basket.

When you have everything you need just click on "Checkout", or the Checkout icon . Once you are in the Checkout, you will be asked for a few details that we need to fulfill your order, and that's it!

Payment can be made online as part of the Checkout process by credit or debit card using the secure servers of our payment processing partners SECPay (we never see your credit card details - see Credit Card security). Or you can use of our alternative payment methods if you prefer, which provide further online and off-line payment options.

What are your delivery options and charges?

All orders are charged a £7.50 (+ VAT) delivery fee for next-day courier delivery. This will be added to your order at the Checkout. Please note that this delivery charge is per order, not per item, and remains at £7.50 irrespective of the overall size or value of your order.

However, some items have FREE DELIVERY

How quickly will my order be despatched?

We aim to put your order into the post the same day as your order is placed.

Where this is not possible (for example, if we receive your order later than 4 p.m.or on a weekend), goods will usually be despatched the next working day. You will always receive an email from us when your order is actually despatched to let you know it is on its way to you. If there is going to be any delay for any reason, we will let you know. Our goal is to offer you good, personal, old-fashioned service but with 21st century technology. We think you'll find the difference is worthy of your attention!

Please note: Where the chosen payment method is either a Bank transfer or payment by Cheque or Postal Order through the post our aim is to despatch your goods to you on the same day as the payment clears..

Will the items I want be in stock when I order?

We usually have most of the items we display in stock and ready for immediate despatch as soon as your order is received. Most orders are actually despatched on the day they are received (up to 4 p.m.) but otherwise certainly on the next working day.

If an item is out of stock we will try to indicate this on the website with 'OUT OF STOCK' and you won't be able to order the item.

Now and again, you will find it possible to order an item through the website even though we have just run out of stock of that item. This is because our website is updated overnight, and we might have run out during the day. If we should be out of stock on an item which you have ordered, we always email you straightaway to let you know, with an estimate of when we will be deliver the item to you, and you will always have the option to cancel your order with a full refund if you would rather not wait.

Do your prices include VAT and other taxes?

All prices shown in our e-Store are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%.

For orders made from the UK or most of the rest of the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the final Payment amount at the Checkout. If you are ordering for delivery to a country where VAT does not apply you do not have to pay this sales tax and it will be removed from your final payment total. However, you may be liable for import taxes which are your responsibility.

Is your site secure when I come to use my credit or debit card?

Shopping using a card has now become an accepted way to pay for goods or services

For many people however putting card details into a web site is still uncomfortable, as we are not sure what is happening to the information we are submitting or where it is going.

This e-Store uses the secure services of card processing organisation SECPay to authorise your card payment and forward the payment to us.

This means that WorthyDeal Ltd. does not ever see your card details or store them in any form on our website. Furthermore, with SECPay processing your card payment for us you can be assured that your card details are securely encrypted during transport over the Internet so no one can read your card information. The card details are only transported to a Bank to authorise your purchase.

SECPay guarantee that they will never:

* Pass on any personal information gathered when you place an order
* Sell or rent your details - you will never receive junk mail as a result of using SECPay on our website

Do you have a Guarantee on the products you sell?

Computer hardware

We guarantee that computer or other hardware purchased from this e-Store will be free from defects caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship for a minimum period of 1 year (longer Warranty periods may apply to certain products - please see item description for details). Under this warranty, we will either repair or give a replacement of equivalent quality or issue credit to you if the hardware is found to be defective (subject to our standard conditions). If you are not totally satisfied after receiving your hardware, or have any problems with it subsequent to purchase, please let us know straightaway, as we will be concerned to resolve any issues / problems as quickly as possibly. The Returns procedure is described in another section.

Computer software

We guarantee that computer software purchased from this e-Store will be free from media or other manufacturing defect for 30 Days from the delivery date. Under this warranty, we will replace or refund at our discretion the item in question (subject to our standard conditions) if it is found to be defective. In certain circumstances, we may ask you to contact the manufacturer directly. The Returns procedure is described in another section.

Will you protect my privacy once I have given you my details?

We do not sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to anybody else.

WorthyDeal Ltd respects your right to privacy. We do not share any information you provide us with anybody. This includes your Name, address, telephone number and email address. None of this information will be given out in any form unless we are required by law to do so.

Cookies are used by our e-Store to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Some of the products you sell say [OEM] in the title. What does this mean?

This means you will receive the software product in a plain box or as a CD-only in a paper sleeve, usually without 'extras' such as a User Manual.

The opposite of OEM is "Retail Packaged". Retail Packaged software comes in a nice illustrated box, usually with a printed User Manual and possibly other items. You can therefore expect the price of a Retail packaged item to be higher than that you would pay for a product classified as OEM.

OEM products are primarily designed for PC system builders, to include in their PCs, so therefore packaging and installation instructions are not vital, because the PC company, not you, will be installing it.

When you purchase OEM Software from us, you are declaring that you are a system builder, and you may not retail or resale this software yourself. You may only distribute it with a new PC or PC component.

Do you have a Returns policy? How do I make a Return?

As a individual consumer, you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from our e-Store within 7 days of receiving our order confirmation email. Cancel an order by emailing cancel@worthydeal.co.uk with your Order number, name and address, etc. If we have not already despatched your goods to you, a full Refund will be given for any payment already made (unless you have paid for your order by credit or debit card, in which case a £1.50 admin fee will apply in order to refund your payment back to your payment card - this is due to the high charges imposed upon us by the payment card companies for processing a Refund and is beyond our control). If you have already received the goods you will need to make the return within 30 days. Once we have received your goods, we will credit you with the value of the returned goods (less the £1.50 admin fee if applicable). These provisions do not apply to the return of computer software that has had its outer shrinkwrap and/or security seal removed or broken - these must be intact where originally present. As these provisions are not to be regarded as a 'trial purchase' scheme, seals etc. on computer hardware inner bags or boxes, etc. must also remain unbroken to qualify for return under these provisions. You are responsible for the return delivery charges, and for the safe delivery of any item back to us (consumers have to exercise a duty of care towards the products being returned as no financial penalty can be incurred by WorthyDeal Ltd. in accepting returned goods under these provisions). For your protection, we recommend that you use an insured recorded-delivery service. Any returned goods must be in pristine condition with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, etc. You should take all reasonable care when ordering computer hardware for example that the product(s) will be compatible with your system by referring to the manufacturer's website and other sources for advice and reference. Products returned to us under these provisions due to customer error are subject to a £10 re-stocking fee.

If you are returning an item because of an error made on our part or because it is defective, you will receive a full refund with no charges whatsoever. The refund will include the original delivery costs to you plus your reasonable costs in returning it to us. Please also see the Guarantee section. To return an item to us because it is defective under the terms of our Guarantee to you (see Guarantee section), you must first email us at returns@worthydeal.co.uk to request an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) number. We will then provide you with full return instructions. In some instances, we may refer you directly to the manufacturer (because this can actually be quicker for you than going through us). Please note that a return cannot be accepted without either a prior cancellation email or RMA number. Also please note that should an item of Computer Hardware that is returned as defective prove to be non-faulty it will be subject to a £12.50 testing fee (£5 for Computer Software Media).
